Only 5 more weeks until finals!

This week, was another crazy one!  It seems the closer to the end of the semester, the more and more work that starts piling up on you.  I had a quiz (code name for “test") Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (each in a different class), my résumé had to be turned in on Thursday (word to the wise, make sure you already have a résumé prepared as soon as you go to college, you will need one!), and Friday was the busiest of all my days!!  But by Friday, I learned that I had done excellent on two of the quizzes I had taken this week.  On Thursday, I learned that I did above excellent on my midterm exam for Dr. Davis’s class.  So I had a lot of good news this week.

Friday, I had to drive home to start and finish my interim security clearance for a summer internship I was accepted to.  I have to pass the clearance before I am able to be 100% confident I will be attending the internship.  I had to get my fingerprints to mail in (which was a hassle!), and I had to fill out the questionaire for national security positions online.  This took me four hours to complete!!  But I got it done, so now all I have to do is wait!

Saturday, my boyfriend and I drove to Charlotte to relax.  We went to some art exhibits downtown, and then headed over to South Park Mall.

But today, I have to finish a 3-5 page Spanish paper for Norris’s SPAN431 class.  I am writting about Emilia Pardo Bazán and have read two of her stories for the paper: El Revólver and Las Medias Rojas.  It is due on Tuesday.  I want to finish it before I study for Couture’s test for SPAN322.  I thought last week was crazy, but next week is going to be even moreso!!  A lot of reading for my Spanish classes and a lot of exams scheduled.  Let’s hope all goes well, once again I have my fingers crossed!!
