A Day in the Hague

Also know as “Den Haag,” this was a happening place today! I decided I wanted to go to the beach, so Claudia and I went to Scheveningen (a tourist-type of beach). It was raining in Breda, and so I thought we had a good chance to have the beach to ourselves. We got to the Hague and found out that (ironically) it was the third Tuesday in September, when the Queen announces the new plans for the next year. It’s a big event and there’s a parade when she goes to and from the procession. After waiting half an hour, we were rewarded with some great pictures… even though there was a huge crowd:

Now I have to get a good night’s rest because tomorrow is Wednesday!  My 8-5 (no break) day!  Tot ziens!
