Thanksgiving Break

Well it’s finally time for thanksgiving break and I’m so excited to go home and spend time with my family! College life is fun, but it will be nice to get a break from school.  Lately, I’ve been doing a few projects that I’m really excited about.  My major is entreprenuership and in my intro to entreprenuership we have to design, market, and sell products.  My group chose to sell slap on koozies.  These are similar to the slap on bracelets that used to be so popular.  They have a camo design and say ‘WCU’ across the front.  It’s been really fun ordering and selling the koozies and they’ve been pretty popular with all the students.. especially my friends.  Also, all the proceeds go to REACH (the battered womens shelter), so I’m excited about helping them.  I also went to see Gary Allen, Blake Shelton, Rodney Atkins, and the Povertyneck Hillbillies at the Asheville Civic Center this past Friday.  It was such a great concert!

There’s only a few weeks of school left until Christmas break! I can’t believe I’m almost halfway through my sophmore year.. it’s going by so fast.

Hi there Megan, I’m a WCU graduate ... class of ‘04. My degree is BSBA, with a focis in Business Mangement. Do you have any pictures of the new buildings on campus? When I was there, a whole mess of construction was going on, for example the new dorm hadn’t been built yet. What’s new at WCU? I know they were talking about making the campus totaly a walking campus and re-routing the central drive there. I’d really like to see some pucs of what’s happened ... do you have any?

About WCU Bloggers

These students have agreed to share their Weblogs (blogs) on this site so that you can get a good idea about life here at WCU. As you will see, they have different views, different interests, different ambitions, and they have fun in different ways. At WCU, being different is OK. In fact, it is expected. What you read in their blogs are their own opinions and may not reflect the opinions of the university or others on campus. Let them know what you think.

Click on the pictures to read their latest adventures and comments. Come back often to see what happens next … in their lives and on campus!

Post your comments to the students and ask them questions. For information about coming to WCU click here or use the search engine below.
